Recognizing the urgent need to prepare the workforce for <strong>climate challenges, energy efficiency, and sustainable entrepreneurship<\/strong>, this project aims to <strong>empower VET learners with the necessary competencies<\/strong> to thrive in a <strong>green economy<\/strong>.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Funded by the <strong>Erasmus+ Programme<\/strong>, the project engages <strong>partners from higher education institutions (HEIs), vocational education providers, NGOs, and industry leaders<\/strong>, ensuring a <strong>holistic approach<\/strong> to green skills development.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-1f11ef7 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"1f11ef7\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">\ud83d\udccc Project Background<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-5990b83 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"5990b83\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><strong>Why is the VETERANS Project Needed?<\/strong><\/p><p>The shift towards a <strong>sustainable and green economy<\/strong> has created a <strong>high demand for skilled workers<\/strong> in areas like <strong>renewable energy, circular economy, and energy-efficient technologies<\/strong>. However, <strong>many VET programs<\/strong> in the Western Balkans lack <strong>structured training on green skills<\/strong>, leading to a <strong>skills gap in the labor market<\/strong>.<\/p><p>To <strong>address this challenge<\/strong>, the VETERANS Project:<\/p><ul><li><strong>Develops a state-of-the-art report<\/strong> mapping the current situation in <strong>VET education and green skills training<\/strong>.<\/li><li><strong>Creates an innovative curriculum<\/strong> tailored to <strong>EQF Levels 3-5<\/strong>, ensuring that VET learners gain practical knowledge in <strong>sustainable industries<\/strong>.<\/li><li><strong>Establishes an e-learning platform<\/strong>, offering digital training resources and tools.<\/li><li><strong>Builds an EU-wide network<\/strong> of <strong>VET training centers<\/strong> to support the long-term integration of green skills.<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-82ff643 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"82ff643\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">\ud83d\udccc Objectives<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-3a576fa elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"3a576fa\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The <strong>VETERANS Project<\/strong> is structured around <strong>six key objectives<\/strong>:<\/p><ol><li><strong>Investigate<\/strong> the current <strong>VET landscape<\/strong> regarding green skills and sustainability.<\/li><li><strong>Develop and pilot-test a curriculum<\/strong> that aligns with <strong>European qualifications frameworks (EQF 3-5)<\/strong>.<\/li><li><strong>Establish Educational Hubs (EDUHUBs)<\/strong> as platforms for <strong>knowledge exchange and training<\/strong>.<\/li><li><strong>Create an online learning platform<\/strong> to promote <strong>digital and self-paced learning<\/strong>.<\/li><li><strong>Engage VET trainers, students, and industry stakeholders<\/strong> to ensure <strong>practical skill development<\/strong>.<\/li><li><strong>Ensure long-term sustainability<\/strong> by building a <strong>network of training centers<\/strong> and securing <strong>future funding opportunities<\/strong>.<\/li><\/ol>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-f502cd7 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"f502cd7\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">\ud83d\udccc Expected Impact<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-22f01e8 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"22f01e8\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The <strong>VETERANS Project<\/strong> is set to bring <strong>significant benefits<\/strong> to various stakeholders:<\/p><ul><li><strong>For VET Trainers:<\/strong> Enhanced <strong>training methodologies<\/strong> and <strong>curriculum resources<\/strong> focused on <strong>sustainability<\/strong>.<\/li><li><strong>For Students &amp;
