Work Packages

Work Package 1: Project Management and Coordination

This work package ensures the effective coordination, strategic planning, and financial oversight of the project. It establishes governance structures, ensures compliance with financial and legal requirements, and monitors project implementation. Key aspects include forming the Steering and Finance Committees, managing risk and sustainability strategies, and maintaining continuous communication among partners through regular meetings and digital tools. The work package also ensures GDPR compliance and financial transparency, integrating risk management and quality assurance measures to maintain the project’s efficiency and accountability.

Work Package 2: State-of-the-Art Report on VET Education

This phase of the project focused on conducting a comprehensive analysis of the current state of VET education in the Western Balkans, particularly regarding green skills and entrepreneurship. Extensive desk and field research was carried out to identify key trends, skill gaps, and best practices. The results were compiled into a detailed report to inform the development of the training curriculum. Special attention was given to ensuring that the report was accessible, with translations in all partner languages and integration into the project’s e-learning platform for broad dissemination.

Work Package 3: Development of the Educational Program (EduHubs)

The EduHubs played a pivotal role in shaping the project’s curriculum through collaborative workshops involving VET trainers, HEIs, and NGOs. The curriculum structure, learning outcomes, and methodologies were aligned with EQF Levels 3–5. The EduHubs facilitated knowledge-sharing, discussions on innovative teaching strategies, and the integration of best practices in green entrepreneurship education. A special focus was placed on assessment methods, accreditation processes, and digital learning tools.

Work Package 4: Digital Learning Platform

This work package focuses on the development and implementation of an interactive e-learning platform designed to support VET trainers and learners. The platform integrates various learning materials, including courses, case studies, assessments, and certification tools. A structured learning management system (LMS) is being developed to ensure accessibility, interactivity, and the ability to track learner progress. Additionally, the platform will provide networking and communication features for users to collaborate and share best practices.

Work Package 5: Training and Pilot Testing

The project aims to establish a network of VET Training Centres that will deliver the developed curriculum and facilitate capacity-building activities for trainers and entrepreneurs. Pilot training sessions will be conducted at the local level to validate the curriculum and gather feedback for refinement. The pilot phase will also assess the effectiveness of the digital learning platform and determine its suitability for long-term use in VET institutions.

Work Package 6: Communication and Dissemination

To ensure broad visibility and stakeholder engagement, this work package focuses on strategic dissemination activities, including branding, website development, and social media outreach. Regular updates are provided via the project’s website and social media channels, while newsletters, academic publications, and conference presentations enhance visibility within educational and policy-making communities. The dissemination plan also includes engagement with key stakeholders such as VET trainers, institutions, policymakers, and industry partners to maximize the project’s long-term impact.
